What is Stained and Dyed Polished Concrete? Creative Maintenance Solutions has an experienced staff of installers that use special stains that chemically combine with cured concrete. Properly applied, these stains can produce variegated or antiqued effects to create a very unique richness. Staining can also mimic the look of anything from natural stone to tanned leather. Once the stain chemically reacts to the concrete, it will never fade, chip or peel.
Unlike acid-based stains, dyes do not chemically react with concrete. Dyes offer an unlimited variety of colors that are more vibrant than stains. They can also enhance floors that are already stained, which allows for more layering of color to the floor.
