1/16" Bond-Blend™ Epoxy Decorative Vinyl Flake Flooring System

This decorative epoxy flooring system provides strength, long-lasting durability, enhanced slip-resistance and decorative appeal. It is used for floors with moderate fork lift traffic and/or minor assembly, providing lower maintenance costs vs. other flooring options. Procedure:

• Existing concrete to be cured at least 60 days and moisture test prior to coating
• Prepare concrete by shot blasting to create a proper surface profile
• Pre-patch joints, cracks, and spalled areas with epoxy mortar
• Grind patches flush with surface
• Apply thin Bond-Blend epoxy primer to surface to prevent gassing
• Apply 1 coat of Bond-Blend 100% solids, clear or pigmented epoxy at 20 mils with a squeegee and back roll until level
• Broadcast color vinyl flakes into wet epoxy in a percentage or until rejection depending on desired look. (Most common and durable system is full broadcast until rejection)
• Upon cure, sweep off excess vinyl chips and scrape to desired texture
• Apply a topcoat of clear Bond-Blend 100% solids epoxy sealer for chemical resistance
